A Salad Meal

I am healthy, I am delicious, I am green,

Serve me with tofu and with some beans,

A simple salad meal, I may just be,

If you want to lose weight, I’m the key!

Heard you said, I’m  too bland, not a complete meal,

That’s no way to eat, let’s get real!            

But you can add some chicken slices, some croutons too

Eat less, eat well;  salad’s good for you!

To keep my Daddy company,

Elusion

it’s dark and it’s dreary

I walk through the door

the wind rustles but empty, yet

come, come heed my call.

the corridors are dusty

the path wrought with fear

suddenly i feel it on my face

the rolling of a tear.

I sat down at the corner

huddled in my pain

will it ever, ever go away

will happiness come again?
